A more inclusive Pinterest 🎨, Apple finally improving Siri 🤖, Meta to release a $200 headset 🥽, and more!

Let’s begin! 👇
🤖 Artificial Intelligence
Apple is finally investing more money in improving Siri 🤖, and they plan to integrate LLMs into it. It’s about time, as AI chatbots have been among us for nearly a decade… in our phones, in our speakers, and even in kitchen robots! Yet, they've felt like that clueless friend you don't expect much from, but they're still there, a part of your life. At least that's how Alexa, Siri, and Google Home have been for me lol.
How can you get inspired if you don’t feel represented? Pinterest is working to be more inclusive to better represent different body types 🎨. They're tweaking their algorithms to show more diverse body shapes in search results, starting with women's fashion and wedding content before expanding to other stuff. Might be a cool thing to cover in our new Sunday posts💡, if you're a paid subscriber, you'll start getting them this week 👯♂️
Elon Musk not only has your biometrical data if you are a X user, but will also know about your educational and professional history 💼, which people think it has something to do with Musk willing to train his xAI company models with our public data, nothing new as he already mentioned we were feeding it with our Tweets.
Are ChatGPT users really declining? 📉 or is it simply because most of us were fortunate enough to take holidays, and all the students were also on break for a couple of months? We'll see in the upcoming months whether AI remains mainstream or if the hype has diminished as much as many "shitcoins," now that crypto is no longer in.
🥽 Extended Reality
Remember Apple's new (and creepy) method of capturing spatial videos and photos with the Vision Pro 🥽? Well, rumours suggest capturing spatial photos will be available on a new iPhone as well 📱, the “iPhone Ultra”. So that might make it less creepy. But… If the basic iPhone model now costs over 1K in Europe , I can't even imagine how much this “Ultra iPhone” will be. I just pray to the Matrix that my iPhone 12 continues to work for a couple more years 🌐
Since everything is becoming so expensive and we have less margin for additional expenses, rumours suggest that Meta is working on a headset priced under $200. This won't be the Pro model, which will start at $499, but a significantly cheaper one. Will this help bring VR into the mainstream? 👯♂️ Btw, this is the topic we'll discuss this Sunday in my first post exclusive to paid subscribers 🤫
