Hello and welcome to another week of Augmented Rarity! 👽
Well, more like Artificial Rarity, because this week we're going to focus on the most important AI-related releases of the week, and probably the year.
Let's get started! 👇
🤖 Artificial Intelligence
In the war between Google and Microsoft to dominate the AI industry, Google just released workspace its version of AI assisted everything 📑 in the Google suite, at least for Google Docs, Gmail, Sheets, and Slides.
In response, a couple of days later Microsoft announced co-pilot 👩✈️, “your AI copilot for work”. Same, as it’s embedded in Microsoft 365 apps (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc).

Aaaaand what we’ve been waiting for months, GPT-4 has been released via ChatGPT and the API 🥳.
Another one from Microsoft! Starting in May, Microsoft Teams will allow us to become a 3D avatars during video calls 🫣
And an unexpected one, Siri is getting an AI boost. The testing will begin for tvOS (AppleTV) under the codename “Bobcat” 🐱.
