The U.S. military has cut the budget for IVAS, the military version of HoloLens, by more than 85% for 2023, mainly because of technical issues with the display. You can read more about this project here.
Sony's PS5 controllers are quite impressive in terms of haptics, so I do have high expectations when they announced that the next-generation of PSVR is coming to PS5, a new version with a greater sense of ✨ presence ✨, so players can "escape into game worlds like never before" 👀
Meta Quest 2 to be $100 More Expensive from August 1st. Meta is adjusting the price of Quest 2 in order to continue investing in research and new product development for the VR industry. This means that they likely won't be launching a new version of Quest anytime soon. Project Cambria may be the Meta Quest 3.
